"The best way to destroy an enemy,is to make him your friend.

Abraham Lincoln.

Comments:
sage advice, perhaps you should send this off to GWB, but may be even too simple for him to understand at this point in time ; (

exactly!! cuz friends hurt friends more than enemies hurt enemies.

er, yay for cynicism...?

we brits all know what the W stands for.

If you want a good poster child for the "Peter Principle" he can be used, and has definately risen to his highest level of incompetency ; (

Love is the only weapon with which we should ever fight. Lincoln actually made his administration work because of his inclusion and effective use of his enemies in addressing the troubles of the Civil War... Civil War that was oxymoronical, how can war be civil. Oh thats right there is a "civil war" in Iraq all civil like. W mmmm I am not a brit but I believe you mean wanker right?
peace

anonant>>>absolutely.

Your blogs are mysterious things, CJ. Always shifting, always changing.

BTW - the collective known for bankers is a wunch.

But you probably knew that.

Hope you're well.

roger>>>perhaps it is time for me to slow down and settle on just a few blogs eh? poor old Fekenham died because of too many other blogs. gone but not forgotten hopefully.

Fekenham died?

Oh my goodness. What was it? A fire? An earthquake?

I hope it was quick.

I can't remember who said it, but another is keep your friends close, and your enemies closer still.
