"It is not living that matters, but living rightly."

Socrates

Comments:
But death is so much easier...

two sides of the same coin.

living verses existing... a lot of people measure their life through possessions and such... I believe in being..and sharing the gift of self in the moment of today... going in a good way matters to me. That is a conscious choice.

Death is the most personal moment you will ever know. Easy is relative. We sit outside of death's door until it opens. Until then, it's a second hand experience..; a response coloured by thoughts, feelings and one's imagination.

I learned how to die one night when the voices in my head became one and told me to sleep. Sleep is like death, if you do it right. It's easier than living. It's easier than being. And if I let go right now...

...maybe the voices would let me rest.
